Personal Statement

My initial introduction into the world of hematology and oncology occurred as a clinical trial coordinator working with patients with lymphoma. Watching my mentors combine rigorous evidence with simple, human gestures that built trust taught me that great cancer care is both immediate and future-focused: treating patients with today's best therapies while advancing tomorrow's breakthrough treatments, and safeguarding long-term health. My past experiences have shaped my current practice where I work with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to their individual values and goals. Within our multidisciplinary team, I offer bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapies (like CAR T-cells and TILs) and as well as lead clinical trials to provide access to facilitate access to promising novel therapies. I am committed to guiding each patient and family through complex decisions with clarity, empathy, and partnership.Outside of work, in my freetime I enjoy taking Peloton classes and spending time with my dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Otto von Bigbark.
